Flynn Park condominium was one of the first residential renovation projects that Aym Design took on.
Our client, an expat family of 4, were big fans of the old colonial black and white houses and wanted to try and bring a touch of that classic look into their new apartment.
The original space still had many touches of the 80’s decoration and design from when the building was first constructed. Therefore our first step was to gut everything and strip the property back to its shell. From here we could start opening up the interior to create a more seamless floor plan. The aim of this was to let each living space flow effortless into the next. The highlight of which were the large wooden bi-fold doors that spanned the entire end of the living room. These opened up straight onto the balcony unifying the indoor and outdoor spaces and consequently provided a living area that is rarely achievable within a condo space.
